A proud employee of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust employed as an e-Learning developer. I collaborate with subject matter experts to design training modules on a wide range of topics from blood transfusions, resuscitation, appraisal, information governance, dysphagia, the list is endless! My expertise spans both clinical and non-clinical e-learning.
With over 25 years of experience in learning and development, I specialise in e-Learning design. Proficient in Articulate 360 and Storyline, I excel in animation building and AI video creation. I love to create innovative and engaging digital learning solutions together.
I joined Newcastle College as a degree apprentice in January 2023 to learn additional design skills and have learned loads of skills which I have transferred to my work and I'm excited to share my journey.
To grow and learn more skills I was instantly sold on the digital design apprenticeship degree.
I researched and selected a web host for the Shush Reflexology website, recommending IONOS due to their competitive pricing, ongoing support, and no long-term contract, which is ideal for a solo business owner. I then began designing the website and provided training to the business owner so she could manage the design herself. I offered this assistance on a voluntary basis, it was an ideal opportunity for me to research website options, explore and experiment with digital designs challenges outside my job. I felt it was important for her to feel empowered, I supported her through the website functionality until she became confident without relying on me.
As a thank you for my support, I received a complimentary reflexology treatment – a delightful and unexpected treat!
I designed a bright Gif that I like, however, it didn't meet the vibe and wasn't included in the website.
I designed a Gif which is included in the scroll through reflexology images.
I designed a video to add a different dimension to the website. I chose bright eye catching colours and fonts, the design is mesmerising.
